These Paiste Formula 602 14-inch Sound Edge hi-hats offer a rich, clear sound with a soft, warm attack and a tight chick. What's more, this set of hi-hats reacts quickly and allows for complete control. The special grooves in the bottom cymbal of this Sound Edge set effectively prevents unwanted airlock.
The Delicate Sound of the Formula 602 Cymbals
In 1959, Paiste launched their now legendary Formula 602 series. The cymbals in this range were the epitome of refined tone, which made them perfect for jazz, fusion and blues in particular. These clear, light cymbals are also suitable for other genres that require a detailed sound and delicate rhythmic support. The Formula 602 cymbals are made of CuSn20, also known as Traditional Bronze.
